The Rook Rewrites The Record Books: Las Vegas Single-Season Rookie Records

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 8, 2018)—Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson enjoyed a historic rookie campaign, sweeping all three Rookie Of The Month awards, unanimously taking home the Rookie of the Year award, and playing in her first All-Star Game.

En route to hoisting all of that hardware, the South Carolina grad also rewrote the Aces’ record books. Throughout the offseason, LasVegaAces.com will post links to the franchise’s records and history, and we begin with the Aces’ single-season, rookie records. A’ja now holds the top spot in eight categories, and ranks in the top 10 in another 11.

She wasn’t the only rookie to make her mark this year, however, as Jaime Nared and JiSu Park also etched their names into the record books.
