TORONTO (July 20, 2026) –The Las Vegas Aces (18-7) took control in the first quarter and never let up, en route to a 109-83 victory over the Toronto Tempo (10-16) in The Six on Monday night. A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young combined for 50 points – Wilson tied for a game-high 26 and Young tossed in 24 and dished out a season-high 12 assists, while the Aces also received 18 points from NaLyssa Smith, 14 points and 7 dimes from Chelsea Gray and 11 points from Jewell Loyd.

Isabelle Harrison equaled Wilson’s 26 points to lead three Tempo players in double figures.

1st Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 30, Toronto 24)
After Toronto struck first and went up 8-3, Becky Hammon called a timeout. A 10-4 Aces run followed for their first lead of the night, 13-12. From there, the lead swapped sides 5 times and the score was tied twice, until a Young bucket knotted things up for the third time at 20-all. After a miss on the other end, Young grabbed the board and knocked down a 3 to claim the lead for good with less than 3 minutes left in the quarter. After the Tempo closed to 23-22, the Aces wrapped the quarter with a 7-2 spurt. The Aces made a red-hot 60% (12-20 FGs) from the field and went 6 of 12 from distance; Toronto was held to 40.9% (9-22 FGs) overall and 2 of 10 behind the arc. Young paced all scorers with 12 points and Harrison had 11 for Toronto.

2nd Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 60, Toronto 44)
The Aces never lost the lead, but with 3 and a half minutes before halftime, the Tempo were within striking distance, 48-42. However, behind 8 points from Wilson and 4 from Smith, Las Vegas closed out the half on a 12-2 run for the 16-point halftime advantage. The Aces netted 61.9% (13-21 FGs) from the floor but made just 3 of 8 (.275) from distance, while the Tempo hit an even 50% (8-16 FGs) of their field goal attempts and went 4 of 9 (.444) from 4-point. Wilson finished with 12 points and no Toronto player scored more than 5.

3rd Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 86, Toronto 65)
The Aces went up by as many as 24 points, 79-55, and their lead never dropped below 15. Las Vegas made 52.6% (10-19 FGs) from the floor and 3 of 10 from deep and held Toronto to 37.5% (6-16 FGs) overall and 1 of 5 behind the arc. Harrison and Young scored 7 apiece for their respective sides.

The Aces maintained a comfortable lead throughout the final frame and made 55.6% (10-18 FGs) of its shots from the field, 2 of 8 from 3-point, while limiting Toronto to 30% (6-20 FGs) overall and 1 of 7 from deep. Loyd led the Aces with 6 points and Maria Conde scored a high of 7 for the Tempo.

GAME NOTES
