Teams will once again play 40 regular season games, taking a four-week break from July 21 through August 16 for the Paris Olympics. Michelob ULTRA Arena is the site for 19 of Las Vegas’ 20 home games, with T-Mobile Arena serving as home court for the Aces’ Tuesday, September 3 game against the Chicago Sky.

The Aces play each opponent four times during the regular season, save for Atlanta, Connecticut, New York and Washington, whom they play three times apiece. The first rematch of the 2023 WNBA Finals between the Aces and Liberty is slated for Michelob ULTRA Arena on Saturday, June 15 at 12 pm. The rivalry continues in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 17 at 1 pm, with the Aces traveling to Brooklyn on Sunday, September 8 for a 1 pm tip against New York.

After three successful seasons of the WNBA’s version of its in-season tournament, the WNBA today announced changes to the format of the league’s Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase, the in-season competition launched in 2021 that designates a portion of regular-season conference games in the first half of the season as “Commissioner’s Cup games.”

The reconfigured structure for this year’s in-season tournament will see each team play a total of five Commissioner’s Cup games, one against each of its in-conference rivals. All games played during the two-week period from June 1-13 will be Commissioner’s Cup qualifying games. Teams will play either three Commissioner’s Cup games at home and two on the road, or two at home and three on the road.

The Aces have played in each of the last two Commissioner’s Cup Championship Games, winning the 2022 title over the Chicago Sky.

The WNBA Playoffs format remains unchanged, utilizing three rounds of series-play using a best-of 3-5-5 format. The eight teams with the highest winning percentages regardless of conference will qualify for the postseason, and be seeded based on their record. All eight playoff teams will participate in first-round, bracket-style play consisting of four best-of-three series.

The WNBA’s national and local television schedules, preseason schedules, additional information regarding AT&T WNBA All-Star 2024, and the Aces’ promotional schedule will all be released after the New Year.
