CJ found her love for basketball where she was born and raised, in Durham, North Carolina. She picked up a basketball for the first time at four years old and continued to play into her first year of college. Staying close to home, she attended North Carolina Central University, where she received a BA in psychology. Afterward, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she obtained her Masters in counseling psychology and began her career in radio broadcasting. In 2008, she accepted the opportunity to be an in-game host with the WNBA, which led to landing the same role with the NBA in 2009. In 2013, she moved to the West coast and continued her journey with sports. CJ’s passion for basketball and entertainment merged with the Las Vegas Aces in 2018 – where she continues to enjoy igniting fan engagement and elevating the game experience for our amazing Las Vegas Aces fans.

Joe Brown is the emcee of emcees and the epitome of hype. With several years of experience getting crowds hype, he brings the magic to Aces games every single night. Joe Brown spent six years as the in-arena host for the Milwaukee Bucks and is a 2x Champion having won with the Bucks and now the Aces. Joe Brown has also rocked the mic at several prominent sports events including the NCAA Final Four, NBA All-Star Weekend, Basketball Africa League and much more! Joe coined the phrase that became a staple for Aces games in 2022 – “EVERYBODY ON YOUR FEET” and plans to continue to bring the hype to The House.
