The Aces are led by two-time All-Star A’ja Wilson, who paces the league in scoring at 22.3 points per game. She was named the Western Conference Player of the Week, Monday, after averaging 25.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots the week prior, while connecting on 60.0 percent of her field goal attempts. Las Vegas went a perfect 3-0 on the week.

Five-time All-Star Angel McCoughtry is second on the Aces in scoring at 14.6 points per game. The 11-year pro is shooting 52.8 percent from the field, 50.0 percent from three-point range and 91.2 percent from the free throw line, all of which would be personal bests should she maintain them throughout the year.

2019 Sixth Women of the Year Dearica Hamby is making another bid for the award, averaging 12.7 pints and 7.9 rebounds per game while making 59.6 percent of her shots, including 50.0 percent from beyond the arc.

Despite all of their offensive weapons, the Aces still hang their collective hats on the defensive side of the ball. The team has the second best Defensive Efficiency Rating (95.9) in the league, while topping the W in Defensive Rebound Percentage (.794) and opponent three-point field goal percentage (.296).

One thing the Aces don’t do a lot of is shoot three-pointers. Although they connect on 36.8 percent of their attempts, they take just 9.7 per game. In fact, Las Vegas has made 25 three pointers on the year, while Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell has connected on 21 by herself. The Fever also make 36.8 percent of their shots from long distance, but they take an average of 20.6 per game.

Indiana boasts the most efficient offense in the league with an OER of 105.3. They are the top offensive rebounding team in the W, and they lead the league from the charity stripe, making 84.2 percent of their attempts.

Mitchell leads the team in scoring, averaging 20.3 points per game, and making 43.8 percent of her shots from long range. Three other members of the team are scoring in double figures on the season—Candice Dupree (14.7), Tiffany Mitchell (13.0) and Teaira McCowan (11.6).

The defensive side of the ball is where Indiana struggles. They allow a league-worst 108.3 points per 100 possessions, and a league-high 46.3 percent shooting from the field.

The Aces are 23-19 all-time against the Fever, and have won eight of the last nine meetings between the clubs.
