Aces Sign Alex Harden To Training Camp Contract

Las Vegas, NV (February 21, 2019)—The Las Vegas Aces announced today that the team has signed Alex Harden to a training camp contract for 2019.

Harden is a 6-0 guard/forward who played with the Phoenix Mercury in 2015 and 2016. As a rookie, she averaged 2.1 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists in  32 games. She saw action in 28 games the following season, averaging 1.4 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.5 assists.

Before being drafted by the Mercury with the 18th overall pick in the 2015 WNBA Draft, Harden was an All-American at Wichita State. As a senior, she was named Missouri Conference Player of the Year after averaging 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Harden is currently playing for Ramat Hen in the Isreali League. She leads the team in scoring averaging 16.4 points per game, adding 7.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists. Harden is connecting on 50.5 percent of her shots from the field and 39.5 percent from long range. She has also played overseas for Ramat Hasharon (Isreal, 2017-18), Hapoel Z/MM (Israel, 2016-17) and Lombos Quinta (Portugal, 2015-16).
