The Las Vegas Aces began their WNBA journey in 1997 as the Utah Starzz. One of the original eight WNBA teams, the Starzz improved their win totals in each of their six seasons in Utah, making the playoffs their last two years, and advancing to the Western Conference Finals in 2002.
