Utah Starzz Photo Gallery

One of the eight original WNBA teams, the Starzz were partially named after the old ABA team Utah Stars. They were the sister team to the NBA's Utah Jazz. The Starzz featured standout players such as Jennifer Azzi, Margo Dydek, Wendy Palmer and Natalie Williams, who contributed to key achievements, including the franchise's first playoff appearances in 2001 and 2002. The Starzz posted their best record of 20–12 in the 2002 season, advancing to the Western Conference Finals.
