When Mark Davis announced on May 11, 2021, that the Las Vegas Aces had hired Nikki Fargas as the team’s president, she was quoted as saying “We are going to do everything in our power to make our front office the best in the business, and provide our players with all the tools they need to bring a championship to Las Vegas.”

Nikki Fargas is a nationally respected sports executive and former Power Five head coach whose career spans championship-level leadership in both collegiate and professional athletics. As President & General Manager of the Las Vegas Aces, she oversees all basketball operations and business functions for one of the most successful franchises in women’s professional sports—driving sustained competitive excellence, organizational growth and athlete-centered innovation.
With more than 25 years of experience in elite collegiate athletics and executive leadership, Fargas brings a rare combination of competitive credibility, operational discipline, facility development experience and values-based governance.

A defining decision of her tenure as President & General Manager was the hiring of Becky Hammon as Head Coach, aligning elite coaching with executive vision, long-term planning and organizational culture. Fargas emphasized roster continuity, performance infrastructure, and athlete care, while retaining a championship core led by Chelsea Gray, A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young.

As an executive leader, Fargas spent more than 25 years as a collegiate coach and program builder at elite institutions.
