The Rook Rewrites The Record Books: Single-Game Records

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 7 , 2018)—Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson enjoyed a historic rookie campaign, sweeping all three Rookie Of The Month awards, unanimously taking home the Rookie of the Year award, and playing in her first All-Star Game.

En route to hoisting all of that hardware, the South Carolina grad also rewrote the Aces’ record books. Throughout the offseason, LasVegaAces.com will post links to the franchise’s records and history, and this week we highlight the fact that A’ja set team single-game records for made field goals, and tied the record for made free throws and free throw attempts. She also posted three top-10 scoring efforts on the season.

In addition, Kelsey Plum tied the Aces record for assists in a game with 13 against Atlanta on August 7, and Kayla McBride’s 38 points vs. Dallas on June 27 were the second most in franchise history.
