South Korea Punches Ticket To Tokyo Despite Loss To China

BELGRADE, SERBIA (February 9, 2020)—Despite dropping a 100-60 decision to China, Sunday (box score/photo gallery), South Korea was able to punch its ticket to the Tokyo Olympics thanks to Spain’s 79-69 win over Great Britain.

Aces second year center JiSu Park was limited to just 16 minutes of action in the loss to China. During that time, she grabbed four rebounds, scored one point, and handed out one assist.

For the three-game tournament, Park averaged 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.00 blocks, and 17 assists.
