Tokyo, Japan (July 29, 2021)—JiSu Park recorded a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double Friday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough as South Korea (0-2) dropped a 74-53 decision to Canada (1-1) in the second game of the Olympics for both teams.
Park kept her team within striking distance for three quarters, but Canada pulled away in the fourth outscoring South Korea, 25-14.
The three-year WNBA veteran went 7 for 12 from the field, but her teammates connected on just 15 of 52 field goal attempts (.288). Park also added five blocks in the loss.
Next up for South Korea is a 5 am PT tip against Serbia on August 1.
