LAS VEGAS (Feb. 17, 2024)—The Las Vegas Aces announced today that they have signed 5-8 guard Elena Tsineke to a training camp contract.

Selected as the No. 8 pick in the second round of the 2023 WNBA Draft by the Washington Mystics, Tsineke was waived prior to the beginning of the season. However, the native of Thessaloniki, Greece, has competed professionally in Europe the past two seasons for Gorzow (Poland), where she averaged 15.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists, while shooting 51.1% from the field and 35.7% from 3-point range in eight EuroCup games this offseason.

The University of South Florida All-American averaged 14.8 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 2.3 apg while starting 102 of 112 games over her four-year collegiate career. The 2023 All-American also was the 2023 AAC Co-Player of the Year and a three-time All-AAC first team selection, as well as 2020 AAC Freshman of the Year.
