Kelsey Plum Named WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week

New York, NY (August 1, 2022)—The WNBA announced today that Aces guard Kelsey Plum is the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from July 28-31.

The fifth-year All-Star averaged 24.0 points per game in Las Vegas’ 2-0 week, while connecting on 73.9 percent of her field goal attempts, and 75.0 percent of her three-pointers. Plum now has a league-leading 94 made threes on the year, which is a WNBA record for players not named Diana Taurasi.

It is the third overall Player of the Week Award for Plum, and the second this season. She ranks 2nd in the league in scoring, 1st in made three-pointers, 4th in three-point field goal percentage and 9th in assists.

The Aces are 22-8 overall, and in second place in the league standings. They take on the Washington Mystics on Tuesday, August 2 beginning at 4 pm PT on MyLVTV.
