Kelsey Plum Named Western Conference Player of the Week For May 30-June 5

New York (June 6, 2022)—The WNBA announced today that Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum is the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from May 30 through June 5.

The fifth-year pro averaged 24.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists over three games. The Aces went 2-1 on the week, improving to 10-2 on the season and 6-0 in Commissioner’s Cup play.

Plum scored a career-high tying 32 points and played all 40 minutes in the Aces’ win over Dallas Sunday afternoon. She connected on four three-pointers giving her a league-best 40 on the season, and she is on pace to become just the second player in WNBA history to make 100 threes in a year.

The 2021 US Olympic gold medalist has made at least one three-pointer in 19 straight games, which is the longest active streak in the league, and has scored in double-figures in 19 consecutive games.
