Isabelle Harrison To Take Leave Of Absence From Aces

Las Vegas (April 28, 2018)—Las Vegas center Isabelle Harrison announced today that she is taking a leave of absence from the Aces due to personal medical reasons, and will not be reporting to training camp for what would have been the start of her third year in the WNBA.

“I would like to thank the Aces organization and fans for their support at this time,” said Harrison, “and I look forward to returning soon.”

“We respect Isabelle’s decision, and look forward to seeing her on the basketball court again when she is ready to return,” added Aces President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Bill Laimbeer.

Harrison was originally drafted by the Phoenix Mercury with the 12th overall pick of the 2015 WNBA Draft. San Antonio acquired her in a trade on January 31, 2017, and Harrison posted career highs of 11.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game last season. She ranked second on the team in scoring, first in rebounding, first in blocked shots, and second among league qualifiers in field goal percentage.
