GAME RECAP: Hamby Pours In Career-High 27 As Aces Top Wings, 86-68

LAS VEGAS (June 22, 2019)–Dearica Hamby scored a career-high 27 points off the bench, Saturday evening, as the Las Vegas Aces ended a 10-game losing streak to the Dallas Wings in an 86-68 victory. The win moves the Aces back over the ,500 mark to 5-4, while Dallas falls to 2-6.

KEY RUNS

The Aces trailed by two, 28-26 with 1:44 gone in the second quarter, but they scored 23 of the next 27 points and went into the locker room up 15, 49-34. Las Vegas extended the lead to as many as 27, and led by at least 12 the rest of the way.

The Aces shot a season-high 53.0% from the field, while Dallas shot 28.6%.

Dallas’s bench outscored its starters 45-23.

The Wings made 18 for 20 free throws, while the Aces made 9 of 10.

Las Vegas went 7 for 17 from three-point range, while Dallas went 6 for 31.

A’ja Wilson scored in double figures for the 41st time in 42 career games as a pro (20 points), and scored 20 or more points for the 21st time in her career.

Liz Cambage handed out a career high 6 assists. She tied her career high with five in the first half.
