LAS VEGAS (July 30, 2026) – Behind A’ja Wilson’s game-high 33 points and 10 boards and Jackie Young’s 29 points and 9 assists, the Las Vegas Aces (20-8) defeated the New York Liberty (16-13) in a 104-98 win on Thursday night on the Aces 60th consecutive sellout at Michelob ULTRA Arena. Chelsea Gray added 16 points and 4 assists in the victory.

Breanna Stewart led the Liberty with a team-high 26 points and game-high 11 rebounds to lead 4 New York players in double figures.

1st Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 27, New York 26)
Behind 3 3s from Young, the Aces held a 14-12 lead with just over 3 minutes gone by. Las Vegas gained its largest lead of the quarter at 27-20 thanks to an 8-0 Aces spurt that featured scores from 3 different players. New York, however, scored the frame’s last 6 points. However, Gray answered with a 3 to regain the lead at 37-34 and the Aces never again trailed. The Aces lead never went above 5 and with 3 minutes left in the half, held a 1-point edge, 43-42. After a Jewell Loyd 3 and a New York bucket made it 46-44, the Aces held New York scoreless, while putting up the last 6 for an 8-point advantage at the midway buzzer. The Aces netted 46.7% (7-15 FGs) from the field, 42.9% (3-7 3pt FGs) behind the arc and 88.9% (8-9 FTs) from the line, while holding the Liberty, who shot 40% overall (6-15 FGs) scoreless on its 4 attempts behind the arc. 3rd Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 78, New York 71)
Pauline Astier tallied 8 of New York’s first 10 points to cut the Aces’ lead to 4 within the first 2 minutes, while Wilson scored all 6 of the Aces points in that span. The Liberty remained close and narrowed the gap to 62-61, but the Aces responded with 8 straight for a 9-point buffer. The Aces lead waffled between 5-10 points and stood at 7 heading into the final frame. Las Vegas hit 61.1% (11-18 FGs) of its attempts and 42.9% (3-7 3pt FGs), but New York made a red-hot 68.8% (11-16 FGs) overall and 2 of 5 from deep. Wilson countered with an and-1 on the next possession, pushing the Aces’ lead to 98-93 with 55.5 seconds on the clock.
