GAME PREVIEW: Aces Wrap Up 2025 Regular Season at Los Angeles on Thursday

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 10, 2025) — The Las Vegas Aces (29-14), looking to up their winning streak to 16 games, head to Los Angeles to play their regular season finale against the Sparks (21-22) on Thursday, Sept. 11. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. PT at Crypto.com Arena and air on Vegas 34 and NBA TV.

WATCH PARTY INFO: The Aces will be hosting a free watch party, presented by BetMGM, for the Aces vs. Sparks game at Atomic Golf. The watch party will include food and drink specials for purchase, appearances by BUCKET$, Aces in-game hosts CJ and Joe, the Wild Card Crew and fun contests with prizes.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Aces are currently tied with Atlanta (29-14), which plays Connecticut tonight. Las Vegas will clinch the No. 2 seed with a Dream loss tonight or an Aces win tomorrow. With the playoff picture coming into focus on the final day of the regular season, the Aces are setting their sights on a first-round matchup either against the No. 6 seed Indiana Fever (24-20) or No. 7 seed Golden State Valkyries (23-20), and will have home court advantage for Games 1 and, if necessary, 3. MILESTONE WATCHES: A’ja Wilson (2,475) needs 8 more rebounds to pass Michelle Snow (2,482) for No. 18 on the league’s all-time rebounds list. Jewell Loyd (1,344) needs 9 made free throws to move past Sylvia Fowles (1,352) and into No. 16 on the league’s all-time free throws made list. Jackie Young needs 3 more rebounds to reach 1,000. After Thursday’s game, Young will break a tie with Dearica Hamby (242) for 3rd most games in franchise history with 243.

2025 All-WNBA candidate Loyd, who reached 6,000 career points on Tuesday, is averaging 11.3 points during the win streak and 42.1% from beyond the arc, up from her 37.8% on the season.

2025 All-WNBA candidate Chelsea Gray (5.3 apg) is 4th in the league in assists per game since the All-Star break and 3rd since the beginning of August. She is averaging 11.1 ppg, 5.3 apg, 3.9 rpg and 1.3 spg this season. During the Aces win streak, her assist numbers have bumped up from 4.5 to 6.8 apg.

2025 All-WNBA candidate and Young recorded her 26th 15+ point game Tuesday and is having one of the best seasons of her career. She’s shooting a career-best 89.4% from the line, averaging career-highs of 4.4 rpg and 5.3 apg and scoring a career second-best 16.5 ppg.

LOS ANGELES: Despite a win over Phoenix on Tuesday, the Sparks have been eliminated from the playoffs due to Seattle’s win over Golden State. Los Angeles has gone 5-5 over its last 10 games and will miss the playoffs for the fifth straight year. Kelsey Plum (19.6 ppg), Dearica Hamby (18.5 ppg), Rickea Jackson (14.7 ppg) and Azurá Stevens (12.9 ppg) round out the double figure scoring for the Sparks this season.
