Cambage’s 19-Pt., 20-Reb. Effort Not Enough As Australia Falls To France At 2020 FIBA Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament

BELGRADE, SERBIA & BOURGES, FRANCE (February 6, 2020)—A’ja Wilson isn’t the only member of the Aces taking part in the 2020 FIBA Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament, as centers Liz Cambage (Australia) and JiSu Park (South Korea) are representing their countries as well.

Cambage, a three-time WNBA All-Star, put up a dominating 19-point, 20-rebound performance vs. France, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the hosts from escaping with a 72-63 victory (box score). Australia next takes on Puerto Rico on Saturday, February 8 beginning at 9 am PT.

Aces second year center JiSu Park scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds for South Korea in their, 83-46, loss to Spain in the first game of the tournament for both clubs (box score). South Korea takes on Great Britain on Saturday, February 8 at 5:30 am PT.
