Cambage Named Second-Team, All-WNBA

NEW YORK, NY (October  6, 2019)—Las Vegas center Liz Cambage was named to the All-WNBA Second Team this afternoon, following a season that saw her finish 10th in the league in scoring (15.9 ppg), sixth in rebounding (8.2 rpg), 11th in field goal percentage (.504), and sixth in blocks (1.59 bpg), while leading the Aces to their first playoff appearance in five years (View League Release).

It is the second All-WNBA distinction for the four-year pro, who was named to the First Team in 2018.

Cambage was even better in the postseason in 2019, averaging 23.6 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.80 blocks while connecting on 54.9 percent of her attempts from the field. The Aces advanced to the semifinals of WNBA playoffs, before falling to the Washington Mystics three-games-to-one.

The Australian native helped Las Vegas tie the WNBA record for most rebounds in a season this year, and shatter the record for most defensive rebounds.
