NEW YORK, NY (August 15, 2022)—The WNBA announced today that Las Vegas Aces forward/center A’ja Wilson is the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played from August 8-14.
The 2020 league M’VP averaged 20.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks on the week while leading Las Vegas to a 3-0 record. The Aces secured the number one seed in the playoffs on the final day of the season behind Wilson’s 25-point, 10-reound double-double against the Seattle Storm.
