LAS VEGAS (June 13, 2026) – Behind 6 3-pointers from Chelsea Gray and a team-high 24-point, 10-rebound double-double from A’ja Wilson, the Las Vegas Aces (10-3, 5-0) outlasted the Minnesota Lynx (10-3, 4-1) in a nail-biting 100-97 win Saturday inside Michelob ULTRA Arena. In addition to Wilson’s 24 points, Gray tallied 23 and dished out 7 dimes, Jackie Young recorded her second double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 assists, and NaLyssa Smith added 15.

Olivia Miles’ career-high 29 points led the Lynx, who received 22 from Natasha Howard, 19 from Kayla McBride and 17 from Courtney Williams.

The Aces are 5-0 in Commissioner’s Cup play and have earned $15,000 for the Public Education Fund, the Aces nonprofit partner for the 2026 CC games. With the win, the Aces upped their all-time record in Commissioner’s Cup games to a league-high 33 victories, and remain the only undefeated Western Conference team in CC play.

1st Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 32, Minnesota 21)
Gray picked up right where she left off on Thursday, netting 4 3-pointers to give the Aces an early 16-6 lead midway through the period to tie her season-high for 3s in a quarter. Holding a 9-point lead with under 4 minutes to go, Wilson netted a pair from the stripe and the Aces’ lead remained in double digits the rest of the period. Bolstered by Gray’s 4 of 5 from 3-point, Las Vegas shot 61.9% (13-21 FGs) from the field and 50% (4-8 3FGs) from distance, while Minnesota was held to 8 of 19 (.421) from the floor. Gray led all scorers with 12 points; Williams led the Lynx with 11.

2nd Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 57, Minnesota 51)
After Miles sunk the first basket of the quarter, Las Vegas reclaimed and maintained its double-digit lead until McBride cut it back to 9, 44-35. Las Vegas scored the next 6 before Minnesota ended the half on a 16-7 run to slice the Aces’ lead to 6, 57-51. Half of the Lynx’s second quarter scoring came from beyond the arc, helped by a combined 80% (4-5 3pt FGs) shooting from McBride and Miles, who hit 2 3s each. Las Vegas shot 55.6% (10-18 FGs) from the floor and 50% (3-6 3FGs) from 3-point range, while getting 9 second-chance points from 4 offensive boards. Miles led all scorers with 13 points, which accounted for 43.3% of their scoring, while Wilson paced the Aces with 8.

3rd Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 78, Minnesota 71)
Las Vegas’ 57-51 lead entering the third expanded to 11 after scoring from 4 different Aces players over a 10-5 spurt. A 9-2 Minnesota run cut the lead to 4, 69-65, but Gray’s 6^th 3-pointer extended the lead back to 9 with 3 minutes left. Young scored the last 4 points for the Aces. The Aces hit on 2 of 6 (.333) from 3-point land, while the Lynx went cold and made only 1 of 5 (.200) of their 3-point attempts. Las Vegas made 47.1% (8-17 FGs) of its shots from the field and held the Lynx to 38.9% (7-18 FGs). Both teams were perfect from the free throw line, shooting 8-8 FTs. Young led the field with 11 points and no Lynx player scored more than 5.

4th Quarter Highlights (Las Vegas 100, Minnesota 97)
Howard trimmed the Aces lead to 5 early in the fourth, but Las Vegas pushed the margin back to double digits, 89-79, before Minnesota answered with a 10-2 run to pull within 2, 91-89. A couple possessions later, Wilson had a huge block on Williams, grabbed the rebound and hit a jumper on the other end to make it 93-89. Miles notched the next 5 points, including an and-1, to give the Lynx their first lead since 8:01 in the first quarter. After an unsuccessful Lynx coach’s challenge, Loyd — who hadn’t been to the line all game — made 3 key free throws to put Las Vegas back ahead, 96-94. With 44.3 seconds left, Miles hit a step back 3 for a 97-96 Lynx lead, but Las Vegas sealed the win at the line, going 4 of 4, after two missed Minnesota shot attempts for the 100-97 victory.

Gray’s 6 3-pointers tied the WNBA record for most 3s made in a 2-game span with 15, which had previously been accomplished by McBride (June 7 & 9, 2024) and Diana Taurasi (Sept. 1 & 3, 2020). Cynthia Cooper (July 18 & 25, 1997) and Taurasi (Aug. 30 & Sept. 3, 2020) hold the record for 19 3s over a 3-game span.

Gray’s 12 points in the first quarter tied her season-high for points in a single quarter, which she also accomplished in the second quarter on June 11.

This is the 7^th game in which Gray posted consecutive 20+ point games in her career.

Young broke a tie with Maya Moore (185) as the WNBA player with the most regular season victories before turning 29. She now has won 186 games … and counting.

The franchise is 5 wins away from becoming the fifth in league history with 500 victories. (LA, Minn., NY, Conn.). Phoenix is also on the cusp of 500, having won 499 since tipping in 1997.

The Aces have scored at least 100 in each of the last 3 games, which ties the WNBA record for consecutive 100-point games, and hit the century mark a league-leading 5 times in 2026.
