LAS VEGAS (Sept. 29, 2025) — The Las Vegas Aces (34-10, 2-2) are set for a winner-takes-all Game 5 of the 2025 WNBA Semifinals against the Indiana Fever (24-20, 2-2) on Tuesday evening at Michelob ULTRA Arena. Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m. PT and will air on ESPN2.

PLAYOFF PICTURE: With the series tied at 2-2, the Aces are in a must-win situation if they hope to keep their season alive. Should the Aces advance to their third Finals appearance in four years, they will meet the No. 4 seeded Phoenix Mercury and own home court advantage in the best-of-seven championship round. ACES VS. FEVER: The Aces dropped Game 4 at Indiana 90-83 and are now hosting a decisive Game 5 elimination game on Tuesday.

Over the 4-game series, the Aces have produced higher numbers in nearly every statistical category, including 82.5 to 79.8 points, 19.0 to 15.8 assists, 14.5 to 15.5 steals and 5.3 to 2.8 blocks per game, while the Fever have owned the boards 34.5 to 27.8 rebounds per game. The Aces also are out-shooting the Fever 48.5% to 42.8% from the floor, 37.1% to 31.1% from 3-point and 77% to 75.9% from the line.

The starkest difference has come from the line, where the Fever have scored 66 points to 47 by the Aces, with Indiana attempting 21.8 to 15.3 free throws per game with just a difference in whistles blown of 2.75 between the teams (the Aces committed 20.0 fouls per game to 17.3 by the Fever).

Las Vegas attempted 11 free throws in Game 4 compared to the Fever’s 34. When factoring in the final minute when the Aces were intentionally sending Indiana to the line to stop the clock, the Fever still owned a 23-11 free throw attempts differential. Over the past two games and again removing the final minute of intentionally sending the opposing team to the line, the Aces shot 14 of 19 and the Fever made 31 of 44 from the line.

Bottom line, the Aces need to keep the Fever off the charity stripe.

2025 WNBA M’VP Wilson scored a game-high 31 points, hitting the 30-point mark for the 7^th time in her playoff career, on 58.3% field goal shooting on Sunday. The Aces are now 11-1 all-time when Wilson scores 25 or more points in the playoffs.

Young, who connected on 6 of 10 of her shot attempts in Game 4 for 18 points, is averaging 18.8 points in the semis on 56.9% field goal shooting. Las Vegas is 7-2 when Young tallies 50% shooting or better on 10 or more attempts. The 2 losses have come from in the semis against Indiana.

The Aces bench will have to make an impact as they’ve done in the 2 Semifinals wins, highlighted by contributions from Loyd and Dana Evans. They scored 10 points apiece in the Game 2 win, but combined for just 9 points in Game 4.
