Aces Waive Alexis Peterson

Las Vegas, NV (May 14, 2023)—Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the team has waived Alexis Peterson, finalizing the team’s roster for the start of the regular season.

Peterson was originally selected by the Seattle Storm in the second round (No. 15 overall) of the 2017 WNBA Draft. She played in 17 games during the 2017 WNBA regular season for the Storm, averaging 2.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists on the year.

Peterson has played overseas in France, Israel and Poland since graduating from Syracuse in 2017. She finished her career with the Orange as the program’s career leaders in assists, while ranking second in career points. Petrson was named the ACC Player of the Year as a senior. She also earned a spot on the AP All-American Second Team, and espnW All-America Honorable Mention Team.

Peterson scored 2 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and handed out 3 assists in Las Vegas’ preseason win yesterday over New York.
