Aces Travel To Phoenix To Tip Off Four-Game, Six-Day Road Trip

PHOENIX, AZ (June 10, 2018)—Las Vegas embarks on its longest road trip of the season this week, beginning with a 3 pm PT tip at Phoenix on Sunday, June 10. The game against the Mercury is the first in a stretch of four games in six days for the Aces, who play eight of their first 11 games of the season away from the friendly confines of the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Fans may watch the game on League Pass or The U Too.

Las Vegas (1-6) is coming off of an 87-83 loss to Atlanta, Friday, which saw leading rookie of the year candidate A’ja Wilson score 20 or more points for the fifth straight game. Kayla McBride (13), Dearica Hamby (11), Jaime Nared (10) and Tamera Young (10) also reached double figures in scoring for the Aces.

Wilson continues to lead the league in free throws and free throw attempts, while ranking fifth in scoring and seventh in rebounding. Hamby scored in double figures for the third straight game, and is leading the WNBA in field goal percentage knocking down 66.7 percent of her shots from the field.

Phoenix (6-3) brings a four-game winning streak into Sunday’s game, following a 17-point victory over the Chicago Sky. The Mercury boast a trio of double-digit scorers in Brittney Griner (21.3), Diana Taurasi (18.8) and DeWanna Bonner (16.4). Phoenix also has the third most efficient offense in the league, scoring 107.0 points per 100 possessions.
