Aces Tip Off 2020 Season On ABC With Playoff Rematch vs. Chicago, Sunday, July 26 at 12 pm PT

BRADENTON, FL (July 12)—The Las Vegas Aces begin their pursuit of the 2020 WNBA Championship on the biggest of stages as ABC is televising their Sunday, July 26 season-opener against the Chicago Sky. Tip is slated for 12:00 pm PT (view the full schedule).

The game is a rematch of last year’s Second Round Playoff game between the clubs which saw the Aces advance to the WNBA Semifinals thanks to a 93-92 victory, which was capped off by “The Hamby Heave.” With 13.5 seconds remaining, Chicago inbounded the ball clinging to a 92-90 lead. Dearica Hamby stepped in front of a Courtney Vandersloot’s pass, tip-toed down the sideline, and launched a 35-footer, which swished through the net to give Las Vegas the win.

At the moment, 12 of the team’s first 16 games in 2020 are being televised nationally, with the potential for additional games to be added later in the year.
