Aces Sign Free Agent Center Victoria Macaulay

Las Vegas, NV (May 3, 2022)—Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the team has signed veteran free agent center Victoria Macaulay.

“We’re excited to have Victoria with us, and the great veteran experience she brings with her,” said Williams. “A member of the 2020 Nigerian Olympic Team, she will help us defend in the post, and be a great compliment to A’ja and Dearica.”

Macaulay played overseas in Turkey for Bursa during the 2021-22 season where she averaged 16.8 points and 7.0 rebounds while draining 37.7 percent of her three-pointers. She has also played abroad in South Korea, Greece, France, Poland, and Italy.

The Staten Island, New York native also plays for the Nigerian National Team, and scored 4 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and handed out 3 assists vs. the US Women’s National Team at Michelob ULTRA Arena during an exhibition game in the run up to the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

A 2013 graduate of Temple, Macaulay played two seasons for the Chicago Sky where she saw action in 9 games across the 2015 and 2019 WNBA campaigns.
