Aces Sign Forward Emma Cannon To Rest Of Season Contract

Bradenton, FL (September 9, 2020)—Las Vegas Aces General Manager Dan Padover announced today that the team has signed forward Emma Cannon to a rest of season contract.

Cannon played the 2017 WNBA season with the Phoenix Mercury after signing with them as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Southern. She played in all 34 regular season games that year, averaging 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds while making 49.1 percent of her shots.

She scored a career-high 17 points at Dallas on August 10 of that year, and snagged a career-high 10 rebounds vs. Atlanta on September 3.

In  2018, Cannon again signed with the Phoenix Mercury prior to training camp, but was waived before the start of the regular season. Likewise, in 2019, she signed with the Connecticut Sun, and was waived before the start of the season.

Overseas, Cannon most recently played for NKE-Csata in Hungary in 2019-20, where she averaged 15.9 points, and 8.7 rebounds while connecting on 50.7 percent of her field goal attempts.
