Aces Sign Former Michigan State Guard Kamaria McDaniel to Training Camp Contract

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (February 4, 2024)—Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the team has signed 5-10 guard Kamaria McDaniel, who last played in the United States for Michigan State in 2022-23, to a training camp contract.

McDaniel is averaging a league-high 37.5 points to go with 7.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game in Turkey for Yalova VIP, which is 9-11 and in 8th place in the TKBL with five games to play before playoffs begin.

The Inkster, Michigan, native played her first three years in the NCAA for Penn State from 2017-18 through 2019-20. In her 92 games for the Nittany Lions she averaged 11.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. The 2020 All-Big Ten first team selection transferred to Baylor after her third year at Penn State and sat out the 2020-21 season due to a left knee injury. She played 10 games (2.1 ppg) for the Bears as a senior.

After her time in Texas, McDaniel landed back in Michigan, competing as a graduate student for the 2022-23 Michigan State squad. She started all 30 games and averaged 14.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Spartans, en route to earning All-Big Ten honorable mention.

In all, McDaniel averaged 11.3 points, 3.0 resounds and 1.9 assists in 132 games over her collegiate career.
