GAME PREVIEW: Aces Seek to Extend Longest Active Winning Streak in 2025 with a Road Win at Washington
WASHINGTON (Aug. 22, 2025) — The Las Vegas Aces (23-14) are set for a 3-game road swing, starting at the Washington Mystics (16-20) on Saturday, Aug. 23, at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. The game will tip off at 12 p.m. PT and will air locally on Vegas 34.
PLAYOFF PICTURE: The Aces are currently in sole possession of 3rd place in league standings after a win on Thursday, and with 7 games left in the regular season. They are only a half game behind Atlanta (23-13) for the No. 2 seed. However, with a mere three and a half games currently separating Atlanta from No. 6 Indiana (19-16), every game is a must-win for teams jockeying for position. In addition to three games against Chicago (9-26) and one against LA (17-18), the Aces count Atlanta and No. 1 Minnesota (28-7) among their final foes. The 2025 WNBA Playoffs schedule can be found here.

The 2012 San Antonio Silver Stars hold the franchise record with 12 straight from June 24-Aug. 21.
