Aces Re-Sign Guard Lindsay Allen

Las Vegas (January 13, 2021)Las Vegas Aces General Manager Dan Padover announced today that the Aces re-signed guard Lindsay Allen. The Notre Dame graduate is a three-year WNBA veteran who has played each of her last two seasons with the Aces.

Originally drafted by the New York Liberty in the second round (No. 14 overall) in the 2017 WNBA Draft, Allen played in 28 games as a reserve for the Liberty during her rookie campaign, averaging 1.9 points, 2.2 assists and 1.5 rebounds.

After New York waived Allen late during training camp in 2018, the Aces signed her for their inaugural season, and she played in 24 games, including six starts. She saw all of her shooting percentages improve during her second year in the W, and she averaged 3.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists.

An injury kept Allen off the floor in 2019, but she rejoined the team for the 2020 season and averaged a career-high 3.3 points per game. Allen also set career benchmarks by shooting 42.4 percent from the field, 35.3 percent from three-point range, and 80.0 percent from the free throw line.

This offseason, the Mitchellville, Maryland native is playing in Russia with Nika Syktyvkar where she is averaging 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists through nine games.
