WHAT TO KNOW

Athletes Unlimited is a 5-on-5 league that runs for 4 weeks located in Nashville, Tennessee. In the league's unique scoring system, every player can lose or win points during every game. Athletes score points as individuals and as a team to win MVP titles and cash bonuses. At the end of the season the athlete who sits atop the leader board is crowned the 2026 Athletes Unlimited champion. This season, the Aces have four players in AU that includes guards Kierstan Bell and Aaliyah Nye and center/forwards NaLyssa Smith and Kiah Stokes. Smith was the 2023 AU champion after amassing 6,811 leader board points.

ATHLETE CAUSES

Each season, athletes choose a non-profit organization of their choice where AU makes a grant to match the player's end-of-season win bonus. The Aces causes are below:

Kierstan Bell: Shaquille O'Neal Foundation - The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation provides resources and opportunities for under served youth. It teams with Boys & Girls Clubs and Communities in Schools to help achieve this mission.

Aaliyah Nye: Jijak Foundation - Jijak Foundation was created to provide and advance the Pottawatomi cultural experience for tribal members and their descendants.

NaLyssa Smith: Lupus Foundation of America - LFA's mission is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, education, support and advocacy.

Kiah Stokes: Reproductive Freedom for All Foundation - Reproductive Freedom for All organizes and mobilizes its 4 million members to fight for access to abortion, birth control, paid parental leave and protections from pregnancy discrimination.
