2025 Commissioner’s Cup Competition Tips-Off Today

NEW YORK (June 1, 2025)—The Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase, an annual in-season competition, tips-off today, features a 36-game schedule and runs through June 17.

With the addition of the Golden State Valkyries, every team will play one game against each of the other teams in its conference – a total of five games for each of the six Eastern Conference teams and six games for each of the seven Western Conference teams.

Eastern Conference teams will play either three Commissioner’s Cup games at home and two on the road, or two at home and three on the road. Western Conference teams will play three games each at home and on the road. All intraconference Cup games will count toward a team’s regular-season win-loss record.

The WNBA continues to be leaders in social advocacy, and the “No Space for Hate” movement is just the latest evolution of the league’s emphasis on advancing social justice and addressing issues that have an outsized impact on members of the WNBA community.

The Las Vegas Aces believe in the power of community and empowering the next generation, which is why the Aces teamed up with the ‘No Place for Hate initiative,’ an ADL education program, which combats bias, bullying and hate in the local school district. ‘No Place for Hate’ learning has been implemented in more than 200 schools in Nevada, including in the Clark County School District.

‘No Place for Hate’ is an anti-bullying program aimed at building inclusive, respectful and safe school communities. It is a student-centered program that takes action against bias and bullying.
