USA BASKETBALL

  • Helped the USA to a 3-0 record and first place in the Belgium-hosted 2024 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament (the USA utilizes these qualifiers as training opportunities since FIBA requires the U.S. to participate, despite having already qualified for the Paris Olympic Games).
  • Participated in the 2023 USA National Team (5×5) training camp and two collegiate exhibition games against Duke and Tennessee; averaged 7.5 ppg, 4.5 apg and 2.0 spg (tied for team high) as the USA went 2-0.
  • Won a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in 3×3 basketball
  • Took part in the USA Basketball National Team (5×5) training camp in February 2023 with aspirations of making the 2024 U.S. Olympic 5×5 Team
  • Invited to attend 2022 USA Basketball Women’s National Team training camp ahead of the 2022 FIBA World Cup, but did not attend due to Las Vegas Aces WNBA Finals run.
  • Attended the 2020 USA Basketball 3×3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament training camp in February 2020.
  • Named to the USA 3×3 World Beach Games roster on Oct. 7, 2019;, and helped the USA to a 3-1 record at the event in Doha, Qatar, losing in the quarterfinals in overtime to Brazil.

  • Overall, Young averaged 30.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game, while shooting .583 from the field, .382 from beyond the arc and .858 from the free throw line
  • Led Princeton to 53 consecutive wins and the 2015 Indiana Class 3A state championship, scoring 36 points in state title game, setting the record for most points in a Class 3A final, as well as the most points by one player in any Indiana girls’ basketball state title game since 1980
