BY THE NUMBERS
Ogunbowale became the Fighting Irish’s all-time leading scorer earlier this season, and now has 2,572 career points which ranks third in ACC history. In this year’s NCAA Tournament, she is averaging 25.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game. Last year, of course, Ogunbowale made history by sinking last-second shots to win Notre Dame’s semifinal game against UConn, and vs. Mississippi State to win the national championship. She has 50 games of 20 or more points over the last two seasons, setting the program record with 25 in a season a year ago, and tying it this year, with two more games on the docket. Last season, Ogunbowale broke the program record for single-season scoring average, and appears likely to break it again in 2018-19.

ACES SCOUTING REPORT
“A confident, strong, athletic guard with the ability to finish consistently at the rim. She has a quick and physical first step with a great mid-range game. Her fearless mentality, coupled with her competitive nature, has made her a standout on the court.”
WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING
“There’s a lot of Diana Taurasi in Ogunbowale, from embracing the big moment to the titanic confidence. A killer, who understands the moment and gets to the basket at will … a complete playmaker.”
~ Howard Megdal, HighPostHoops
“I love Arike. She’s in the conversation for the No. 1 pick in my book. She’s tough. She’s physical. She’s got great range. She’s excellent in transition. She can create her own shot. She’s become a better passer. I like her as much as I like any prospect in this draft.”
