LAS VEGAS, NV (October 16, 2018)—Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson enjoyed a historic rookie campaign, sweeping all three Rookie Of The Month awards, unanimously taking home the Rookie of the Year award, and playing in her first All-Star Game.
En route to hoisting all of that hardware, the South Carolina grad also rewrote the Aces’ record books. Throughout the offseason, LasVegaAces.com will post links to the franchise’s records and history, and this week we highlight the fact that A’ja not only rewrote the record books for rookies, but for players of all experience levels. She now holds the top spot in six categories, and ranks in the top 10 in four others.
Also denting the single-season record books this season were Kayla McBride, Kelsey Plum and Dearica Hamby.
