LAS VEGAS, NV (June 17, 2018)—Las Vegas got a pair of double-doubles Sunday evening— a 21-point, 10-rebound effort from A’ja Wilson, and an 11-point, career-high 12-rebound performance from Nia Coffey—but it wasn’t enough as the Aces fell to visiting Phoenix. 92-80.

Las Vegas led, 11-10, with 3:16 gone in the first, but the Mercury scored 17 of the next 22 points to take an 11-point lead, 27-16.
The Aces battled back to make it a nine-point game at the end of the quarter, and tied the score at 42 late in the second, but never regained the lead.
Phoenix led by six, 63-57, in the third, and scored 10 straight points for their biggest lead of the night of 16, 75-59. Las Vegas never got closer than six the rest of the way.

Phoenix went 13 for 32 from three-point range, while Las Vegas went 2 for 10—a 33-point swing.
The Aces dominated the glass, out-rebounding the Mercury 48-34 overall and 18-7 on the offensive end.

Nia Coffey grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds, and added 11 points for her first career double-double.
A’ja Wilson (21 points) reach double figures in scoring for the 12th straight time to start her career. She also scored 20 or more points for the seventh time this season, and notched her 4th double-double (21-points, 10-rebounds).
Kayla McBride (20 points) reached double figures in scoring for the ninth time in 10 games this season, and scored 20 or more points for the third time this season.
