Many WNBA players take their talents overseas during the “offseason,” and the Aces are no exception. While Moriah Jefferson is in Las Vegas making appearance on behalf of the team, the majority of the remaining players on the roster are hooping it up around the world.

Cierra Burdick—Kazanochka Kazan (Russia)

Russian League: Semifinals—April 10, L, 77-66 vs. MBA; April 13 W, 85-75 vs. MBA; April 16 L, 71-63 vs. MBA

Kazanochka Kazan ended its Russian League season with a 2-1 postseason series loss to MBA. Burdick scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in game one of the series, but MBA picked up an 11-point victory as Kazanochka missed 23 of 28 three-point field goal attempts. Kazanochka tied the series with a 10-point win behind another 17-point, 10-rebound double-double from Burdick in game two. In the decisive third game, Burdick paced her teammates with 17 points and 13 boards, but Kazanochka fell by eight.

Yakin Dogu finished out the KBSL regular season with six straight victories to clinch the regular season championship. McBride poured in a team-high 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the team’s seven-point victory over Adana ASKI. In the season’s regular season finale, McBride scored seven points and grabbed three rebounds.
