LAS VEGAS, NV (August 12, 2018)—The Las Vegas Aces don’t play again until Wednesday when they host the New York Liberty, but that didn’t stop them from gaining a half game on Dallas Sunday afternoon, as the Wings dropped a 93-80 decision to the Washington Mystics.
Las Vegas is now one game behind Dallas in the race for the eighth and final spot in the WNBA playoffs. The Wings’ magic number to eliminate the Aces is still two—any combination of two Dallas’ wins or Las Vegas’ losses eliminates the Aces.
